Welcome here. This is the place where I post weekly sermons given at Cincinnati Mennonite Fellowship. Feel free to search around, read, and comment if you wish. If you are looking for sermons from particular books of the Bible you can look under the “Categories” section and click on any book listed there. The right column lists the most recent 15 sermons, but there are plenty more. To access these go all the way to the bottom of the page and click “next page.”
The picture header here is taken in front of our house in Cincinnati, Ohio, one week after our youngest daughter Lily was born. The blooming lily is the same plant that my great-grandma Lily grew at her home. For me the brick is very much a symbol of the urban landscape which is my adopted home, having grown up in rural/small town Ohio and lived in various urban settings since college. The Lily and the brick are both something old and something new, both connected with that very human yearning – home. My sermons are all influenced in some way by both the old and the new, as well as that journey into home that we are all walking.
